My children use Craig's List frequently. Today, as part of our exploration project, I visited Craig's List for the first time. It is truly amazing. I selected a state (Florida) and then the area (South Florida). I investigated a few areas for sales - bikes, for one. I was impressed with the organization of the site. I noticed a link avoid scams and frauds. That is a good idea. There is a blog, discussion forums, as well as an area for job listings.
I think the library could make use of this web site. The Friends of the Library could list books or items for sale. Also, lessons, classes, or other instruction could be posted under the services section
