What an amazing year this has been. I am now a VE (volunteer examiner) for the ARRL. We need one more VE in the club before we begin our radio license testing sessions.
I am presently gathering confirmations of my radio contacts so I can earn the DXCC (worked and confirmed 100 entities) and WAS (worked all states) awards from the ARRL (Amaerican Radio Relay League). My logbook of the world account is greatly simplifying this process.
I am going to summarize this year (2009) in this and subsequent posts.
